breed is incredibly unique and filled with lore based on the nature, physicality and history of these awesome horses. They all have special skills and unique abilities and can participate in hunting, fighting tournaments, crafting and more. However, Ballators are often the unsung heroes of traditional horse shows due to their fearsome appearance and fantastical nature. Thus, the Hounds of Eld are hosting a horse show specifically for EBs. Remember that horse shows with your EBs are worth extra stats (
Entering the show is easy! You will reply to the journal on the comment thread relating to the class. Judging will be performed through a mixture of your horse’s stats, elements included in your drawn or written entry, and random chance. Attack Strength and Experience will NOT be included in the judging process.
Note please that I am fully aware that there are hundreds of different equine related sports and that cross-country, reining, etc do not represent the full repertoire of English and western disciplines! I chose “classes” that would have the most fun in terms of drawing, stories, and decor.
Horse Show Location: Hounds of Eld is a large facility located on the border of the United States and Canada. The environment has lots of pine trees, green grass, mountains and rivers. There may even be snow on the ground outside! The arenas are decorated in holiday gear (religion neutral) such as greenery, wreaths, ornaments, ribbons, snowflakes, balloons, fresh flowers, etc! Most of the decor is red and gold in color. The details of these decorations, arena shapes, indoor vs. outdoor is entirely up to you! All classes will take place during the DAY however - so no night time related work.
Rules: - Entries will all be completed and submitted by January 15th, 2020. When it is January 16th, 2020, in all time zones, the entries will be closed.
- You can enter only 2 classes per horse!
- Entries must be full art pieces with a background or 1000 word+ stories.
- Only one EB per entry.
- Your EB’s type (lilliput, African, etc) will not be considered in judging.

- Entries must be posted to your gallery - not stash or scraps.
